VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Sandia Sunrise Therapy is committed to advancing the fields of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. This includes helping future medical professionals develop the skills and experience needed to provide exceptional patient care.

We are proud to offer volunteer opportunities to prospective physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language pathology students who need to accumulate volunteer hours to apply to graduate-level programs.
Candidates Qualifications:

Commit to one recurring shift per week from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM on Monday through Thursday

Commit to at least 13 weeks of volunteering and a minimum of 50 total hours

Complete volunteer orientation

Undergo background check

Meet clinic requirements for vaccination status
Candidate Responsibilities:

Observing and assisting therapists during session

Completing projects to support therapy sessions and home programs

Adhere to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws

General clinic cleaning and organizing
