Dr. Nyja Mitchell was born and raised in Missouri. She graduated in May 2024 from Washington University in St. Louis with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Nyja has always had a passion for working with children and enjoys volunteering with organizations such as Special Olympics. She is looking forward to growing as a professional with Sandia Sunrise Therapy. Dr. Mitchell has a special interest in torticollis and concussion therapy, but is looking forward to working with children of all ages! In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and staying active!
