PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPY

The goal of physical therapy is to maximize your child’s independence with functional mobility and fitness. Based on an individualized program, our physical therapists works to improve your infant and child’s ability to move in a safe and effective manner within their environment. Common conditions and diagnoses that our therapists are experienced in treating include:

  • Early motor development (infants and toddlers)

  • Torticollis/plagiocephaly

  • Brachial plexus injury

  • Hypotonia (low muscle tone)

  • Gait abnormalities: toe-walking, in-toeing, etc.

  • Orthopedic injury:  sprains, fractures, joint pain, etc.

  • Neurological disorders: cerebral palsy, ataxia, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, etc.

  • Gross motor delay and lack of coordination  

  • As well as a variety of other musculoskeletal conditions
